NRL Round 16 kicks off this Friday with the Cowboys vs Panthers, and we have our best NRL tips for every game this season.
There are some big games this week, including Tigers vs Storm, in what is a shortened round due to State of Origin 2.
NRL Round 16 Tips

Friday 16/6/23
8:00pm North Queensland Cowboys vs Penrith Panthers @ Country Bank Stadium
The Cowboys get a good chance of beating the Panthers due to their players being out for State of Origin.
The home side hasn’t been the most consistent team in recent weeks, but we think they are improving enough to get the win.
It should be a close game, but take the Cowboys to kick off Round 16 in style.

Cowboys vs Panthers – betr Same Game Multi
We’ve teamed up with betr to provide the GoBet Multi for the first game of every round of the 2023 NRL season.
We are happy to take the Cowboys to win the game, and we’re also including the unders in the total match points in our same game parlay. With the amount of players missing, we think it will turn into a defensive game, and the final scoreline could be around 18-12. We’re also including Kyle Feldt to score a try. He has been in good try-scoring form this season.

Saturday 17/6/23
3:00pm Newcastle Knights vs Sydney Roosters @ McDonald Jones Stadium
The Sydney Roosters have been one of the worst teams this season, especially after being thumped by the Panthers last week.
It won’t get any easier this week, and although they’re only playing the Knights, the Roosters won’t have many players, including captain James Tedesco.
That could be enough to see the Knights open as favourites for this game and take it by the scruff of the neck.
Look for a value price for the home side.
Betting tip: Knights

5:30pm Parramatta Eels vs Manly Sea Eagles @ CommBank Stadium
Something needs to change for the Eels season to turn around, but that could happen against the Sea Eagles on Saturday.
Manly could be without a few of their top players, and that could be all the Eels need to take advantage and score a much-needed win.
We’re not expecting much to be between them, but if the Eels are going to start a mid-season run, it needs to start now.
Betting tip: Eels

7:35pm Wests Tigers vs Melbourne Storm @ Campbelltown Stadium
Melbourne is without their top players, but given the way it won against the Sharks last week, it should be tough to beat.
The Storm are still one of the best teams in the NRL, and the Tigers, albeit improving, are now finding ways to lose games.
Even without the likes of Cameron Munster in the team, they should have too much class, and be too well coached to lose.
Betting tip: Storm

Sunday 18/6/23
4:05pm Cronulla Sharks vs Canterbury Bulldogs @ PointsBet Stadium
The Sharks were terrible against the Storm last week, so there are some big concerns about their attitude.
That could open the way for the Bulldogs to produce the goods, but they’re without their best player in Josh Addo-Carr.
We expect a much better performance from the Sharks, who play at home, and there are big expectations put on them.
Betting tip: Sharks
