NRL Round 18 kicks off this Thursday with the Sharks vs Dragons, and we have our best NRL tips for every game this season.
There are some big games this week, including Warriors vs Rabbitohs and Storm vs Panthers.
NRL Round 18 Tips
—
Thursday 29/6/23
7:50pm Cronulla Sharks vs St George Dragons @ PointsBet Stadium
There is nothing going right for the Dragons and we feel for them, especially with captain Ben Hunt wanting out of the club.
It could result in a one-way result for the Sharks, who can pile on the points quickly, and that’s what we expect to happen.
They are a top four team taking on the worst in the NRL.
Betting tip: Sharks –18.5 @ $1.90

Sharks vs Dragons – betr Same Game Multi
We’ve teamed up with betr to provide the GoBet Multi for the first game of every round of the 2023 NRL season.
Bookmakers have the line at –18.5, which isn’t easy to cover in rugby league, but the Sharks have too much attacking power for the Dragons, so take the Sharks –18.5. It could be a big score line, somewhere in the region of 40-10, so we also like the over total match points hitting for our same game multi. A must-include is Ronaldo Mulitalo to score a try. He has been in excellent try-scoring form for the Sharks.

Friday 30/6/23
6:00pm New Zealand Warriors vs South Sydney Rabbitohs @ Go Media Stadium
The Warriors have been the surprise package of 2023, and beating the Rabbitohs would strengthen their title chances.
It’s not going to be an easy test, but playing at home helps, and they have plenty of momentum on their side, which isn’t usually the case for the Warriors.
We’re happy to keep backing them until they show us otherwise.
Betting tip: Warriors @ $1.80
Warriors by 4
8:00pm Melbourne Storm vs Penrith Panthers @ Marvel Stadium
Two of the best teams clash on Friday night as the Storm look to push for the top spot against the Panthers.
Penrith has been in incredible form, especially with Nathan Cleary on the sidelines. However, beating the Storm at home is easier said than done.
If the Storm want to send a message, they need to win this game. We expect a top performance from the home side, who are the slight favourites.
Betting tip: Storm @ $1.85
Storm by 4
Saturday 1/7/23
3:00pm Canberra Raiders vs Gold Coast Titans @ GIO Stadium
The Titans come off a big upset win over the Broncos, but that often happens in the first week of getting a new coach.
We expect reality to set in now against the Raiders, who have been playing well at times, and playing at home is a big bonus.
There isn’t much between them with bookmakers, and it should be a close game, but take the Raiders to prevail.
Betting tip: Raiders –3.5 @ $1.90
Raiders by 6
5:30pm North Queensland Cowboys vs Wests Tigers @ County Bank Stadium
The Cowboys got back to their best form last week and we expect that to continue against the Tigers on Saturday.
It hasn’t been smooth sailing for the Cowboys, who sit outside the top eight, but they have a team packed full of State of Origin stars, so there are no excuses.
Covering the –13.5 line won’t be easy, but the Tigers could roll over.
Betting tip: Cowboys –13.5 @ $1.90
Cowboys by 16
7:35pm Brisbane Broncos vs Dolphins @ The Gabba
The Gabba hosts a rare NRL game as the Broncos look to get back to their winning ways against the suddenly-struggling Dolphins.
Coming off a loss to the Titans, we expect the Broncos to play better against the Dolphins, who haven’t been an easy match up for the Broncos.
Despite being smashed by the Eels, the Dolphins could keep it close in front of a big crowd.
Betting tip: Dolphins +13.5 @ $1.90
Broncos by 10
Sunday 2/7/23
2:00pm Canterbury Bulldogs vs Newcastle Knights @ Accor Stadium
It’s tough to split the Bulldogs and Knights, who are struggling, but we’re picking the Knights to come out ahead.
Having Kayln Ponga in the team is a big bonus for the Knights, who can produce exciting performances on their day.
Backing the Bulldogs rarely results in something good.
Betting tip: Knights @ $1.71
Knights by 4
4:05pm Manly Sea Eagles vs Sydney Roosters @ 4 Pines Park
Desperation is starting to seep in for the Sea Eagles and Roosters, who need to produce wins to make the playoffs.
We have seen more from the Sea Eagles to suggest they could make a run, but they need to start scoring, and they’re without Tommy Turbo.
That should leave the Roosters with a chance to win on the road, but it’s a tough game to pick the winner.
Betting tip: Roosters @ $1.71
Roosters by 2
