There are some big games this week, including Warriors vs Raiders, Rabbitohs vs Broncos, and Cowboys vs Eels.
NRL Round 21 Tips
—
Thursday 20/7/23
7:50pm St George Dragons vs Wests Tigers @ WIN Stadium
Punters could have a tough time trusting either side, but because they’re playing at home, we’re taking the Dragons to win.
They haven’t been playing good football, but they are one position ahead of the Tigers on the NRL ladder and that must count for something.
We’re not climbing out of trees to back them but take the Dragons to come out ahead.
Betting tip: Dragons @ $1.67

Dragons vs Tigers – betr Same Game Multi
We’ve teamed up with betr to provide the GoBet Multi for the first game of every round of the 2023 NRL season.
The Dragons had the benefit of the bye last week, so they should be the fresher team. Therefore, we expect the $1.67 to firm, so include the Dragons to win in your same game multi. We also expect a low-scoring contest, which could become a grind. We’re happy to include the under total match points in our selections, and Mikaele Ravalawa to score a try. He scored three tries against the Raiders, so he’s in grand form.

Friday 21/7/23
6:00pm New Zealand Warriors vs Canberra Raiders @ Go Media Stadium
The Warriors showed that they are no joke when thrashing the Sharks in Auckland last Sunday.
It was a complete performance, and they should fancy their chances of beating the Raiders at the same venue.
Bookmakers have the Warriors at –6.5, which is a sizable line, but we have confidence that they’ll get the job done in front of home fans.
Betting tip: Warriors –6.5 @ $1.90

8:00pm South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Brisbane Broncos @ Sunshine Coast Stadium
It’s the biggest game of the week as the Rabbitohs host the Broncos, and there is a lot on the line.
The Rabbitohs are holding onto a spot inside the top eight, and the Broncos are looking to pressure the Panthers at the top of the table.
Bookmakers have the Rabbitohs at $1.68 and it’s worth taking. We think they get the better of the Broncos on this occasion.
Betting tip: Rabbitohs @ $1.68
Rabbitohs by 4
Saturday 22/7/23
3:00pm Gold Coast Titans vs Sydney Roosters @ Cbus Super Stadium
The Roosters are in a dire situation in 14th position, and with time running out, we can’t see them making the playoffs.
It’s a huge letdown for the Roosters, and the Titans could take advantage on Saturday afternoon, especially with home field advantage.
Getting $2.16 at home is an excellent price in this situation.
Betting tip: Titans @ $2.16

5:30pm Newcastle Knights vs Melbourne Storm @ McDonald Jones Stadium
The Melbourne Storm are building nicely towards the finals and they have the Knights in their sights.
Craig Bellamy has a way of getting the best out of his players, which was the case against the Roosters last week, so they should handle the Knights.
Newcastle has been playing well, but this will test the home side.
Betting tip: Storm –8.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm North Queensland Cowboys vs Parramatta Eels @ Country Bank Stadium
The Cowboys are now one of the hottest teams in the NRL, despite sitting outside the top eight.
Despite a slow start to the year, they hit top gear at the right time, and we can’t see the Eels standing much of a chance on the road.
Punters get great value for the Cowboys, who are $1.68 and –3.5, so take the value line before it moves throughout the week.
Betting tip: Cowboys -3.5 @ $1.90
Cowboys by 6
Sunday 23/7/23
2:00pm Penrith Panthers vs Canterbury Bulldogs @ BlueBet Stadium
There isn’t much going right for the Bulldogs, who are sitting in 15th position and there are big concerns about their future.
The same can’t be said for the Panthers, who struggled to beat the Dolphins last week, but they didn’t have most of their good State of Origin players.
Winning should come much more naturally this time around, and they should cover the spread.
Betting tip: Panthers –23.5 @ $1.90
Panthers by 30
4:05pm Cronulla Sharks vs Manly Sea Eagles @ PointsBet Stadium
The Sharks were embarrassed by the Warriors last week, so bouncing back from that loss could be difficult.
However, they face the Sea Eagles who are struggling, and that’s reflected in betting markets, which have the Sharks at $1.43.
We don’t think there will be much between them, so the Sea Eagles +7.5 is a solid line.
Betting tip: Sea Eagles +7.5 @ $1.90
Sharks by 6
