7:50pm Brisbane Broncos vs Sydney Roosters @ The Gabba
Brisbane put on a second-half clinic against Souths last week, and although the Roosters found their best form, there is a lot between these sides.
The Broncos are one of the best, if not the best team in the competition. Playing at home is another positive, so they’re good enough to win and cover the spread.
Take the –8.5 line in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Broncos vs Roosters – betr Same Game Multi

The Souths were run over against the Broncos last week, but they’re expected to do something similar to the Tigers.
However, although we expect Souths to win, we don’t think they’ll cover the –21.5 points spread on the road at Scully Park.
That’s a big margin and the Tigers can produce an upset on their day.

The Storm and Eels have something to prove after being handily beaten last week.
Melbourne lost to the Newcastle Knights, which was a shock upset, so that wouldn’t have impressed coach Craig Bellamy. However, the Storm rarely lose consecutive games.
That spells danger for the Eels, who lost to the Cowboys, and we don’t think they’re on the same level as the Storm.

3:00pm Canberra Raiders vs Newcastle Knights @ GIO Stadium
The Raiders looked gone against the Warriors before scoring two tries in the final two minutes. They ultimately lost in golden point, but credit to their fighting qualities.
Newcastle scored a terrific win against Melbourne, which is why we’re surprised by the $2.31 odds for the visitors.
Winning in Canberra isn’t easy, but that value is too good to pass up on a team fighting for a playoff spot.

The Dragons are one of the worst teams in the competition and given how well the Sea Eagles played for 44 minutes last week, they should win.
Manly was up 30-0 against the Cronulla Sharks on Sunday before collapsing in the second half to win 30-26. It was almost a big blunder, but it looked excellent prior to that.
We’re not confident the Sea Eagles can cover the spread, so take them to win outright.

The Panthers rolled through the Bulldogs last week and now they face a wounded Sharks team.
The Sharks come off a home loss to the Sea Eagles, and they trailed 30-0 at one point. They scored 26 points on the run, but it wasn’t enough.
Penrith is the better team, but winning by 15.5 points isn’t easy, so expect the Sharks to keep it close in a desperate situation.

2:00pm Canterbury Bulldogs vs Dolphins @ Salter Oval
The Dolphins are well-rested and ready to pile on the points against the hapless Bulldogs.

Take the Dolphins to score a comfortable win.

The Cowboys have scorched their way into a finals position with some stellar rugby league, and we don’t see them slowing down.
They come off a 24-16 win over the Eels, so they are looking good and ready to put the Titans to the sword on Sunday afternoon.
Bookmakers have the line at 8.5, which is tricky, but take the form team.
