NRL Round 27 Tips

Thursday 31/8/23
7:50pm Brisbane Broncos vs Melbourne Storm @ Suncorp Stadium
The Broncos wrestled the top spot away from Penrith with a win last week, and they could enter the playoffs with momentum.
It hasnât been as easy for Melbourne, which has looked good at times, but it has also struggled with consistency.
We think the Broncos are too strong, and they could produce some of their best play this year to cover the spread.
Betting tip: Broncos â6.5 @ $1.98

Broncos vs Storm – betr Same Game Multi
We’ve teamed up with betr to provide the GoBet Multi for the first game of every round of the 2023 NRL season.
The current points spread line is â6.5, which is a tricky line for same game multis. Therefore, weâre taking the Broncos halftime/fulltime. We think they start strongly and never give up their lead, so include that option. We also like the over total match points and Katoni Staggs to score a try. He has been in excellent form, and we should see plenty of points on offer.

Friday 1/9/23
6:00pm Manly Sea Eagles vs Wests Tigers @ 4 Pines Park
There is nothing on the line for either side, but the Sea Eagles are the much better team.
They showed that when winning last week, and although itâs too little, too late, they should put the Tigers to the sword.
Bookmakers have the line at 10.5, and the home side should produce a big performance in front of their loyal fans.
Betting tip: Sea Eagles â10.5 @ $1.90

8:00pm South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Sydney Roosters @ Accor Stadium
Itâs all to play for with the Rabbitohs, who must win to guarantee a spot in the finals.
Despite needing the win, bookmakers have the Roosters favoured to win at $1.90, which is surprising given their position on the ladder.
A Roosters would win shake things up, but weâre picking the Rabbitohs to have enough in the tank.
Betting tip: Rabbitohs @ $1.94

Saturday 2/9/23
3:00pm Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors @ Suncorp Stadium
The Warriors are having an incredible year, and itâs likely to continue against the Dolphins on Saturday.
We are surprised by the betting line, and although itâs not imperative the Warriors win, they should want to enter the playoffs with momentum.
The â5.5 line seems too good to be true, but weâre taking it.
Betting tip: Warriors â5.5 @ $1.90

5:30pm Penrith Panthers vs North Queensland Cowboys @ BlueBet Stadium
The odds for this game will depend on the winner of the Rabbitohs vs Roosters.
If the Rabbitohs win, the Cowboys have no chance of making the playoffs. However, as it stands, the Panthers are only $1.62 favourites.
They have some injury problems heading into the finals, but we expect them to beat the Cowboys with home field advantage, in what is the trickiest game of the week.
Betting tip: Panthers @ $1.65
Panthers by 6
7:35pm St George Dragons vs Newcastle Knights @ Netstrata Jubilee Stadium
The Knights are the form team in the competition, and although they havenât been winning against the best teams, they look good.
They should be far too good for the Dragons, who occupy 16th position on the NRL ladder, and we donât see them ending their miserable year with a win.
Take the Knights to win and cover the spread.
Betting tip: Knights

Sunday 3/9/23
2:00pm Gold Coast Titans vs Canterbury Bulldogs @ Cbus Super Stadium
Only pride is on the line this Sunday when the Titans face the Bulldogs, and it should be the Titans winning.
They will be disappointed with their placing on the ladder, but the Bulldogs have been terrible, and we canât comfortably bet on the visitors.
We expect the Titans to be too strong.
Betting tip: Titans â8.5 @ $1.93

4:05pm Cronulla Sharks vs Canberra Raiders @ PointsBet Stadium
These teams have struggled towards the back end of the year, and it could make for a tense game on Sunday.
The Sharks didnât look good when losing to the Knights on Sunday, and the Raiders were handled by the Broncos.
Given whatâs on the line, we expect the Sharks to have a slight edge.
Betting tip: Sharks
