It follows a similar website layout to many of the newer Australian bookmakers. The next races to jump and upcoming sports are prominent on the home page, which makes the important information easy to find.

There aren’t too many distractions at BetDeluxe, which uses a sleek black colour scheme. The latest promotions for logged in users flash on a banner, but apart from that, it’s streamlined and we like that about the website design.

Horse racing features more prominently in the website design. Given the brains behind the operation, we’re not surprised that racing is at the forefront of the website.

BetDeluxe horse racing is the shining light of the website. Because it’s operated for a former Victorian bookmaker, horse racing is always going to stand out above the rest.

Punters get a wealth of horse racing betting markets, including thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound action from Australia, New Zealand, and overseas.

It’s new Same Race Multi is a great initiative and it’s something most other bookmakers aren’t providing, so kudos to BetDeluxe for thinking outside the square.

Odds are competitive, with fixed, tote, and best tote options available. There is also a detailed form guide for Australian racing, which comes in handy.

The only negative we could find are a lack of futures options. The big races, such as the Melbourne Cup and Cox Plate are featured, but we would like to see more options offered.

BetDeluxe sports betting

There is no shortage of sports available to bet on at BetDeluxe. Punters get markets for all the major sports but some of the niche sports are left off the list.

If you’re looking to bet on the likes of volleyball, entertainment, and other niche markets, they’re not available. However, the big sports such as NRL, AFL, and American sports are available and that’s the primary concern of most punters.

Sports odds are competitive considering it’s a horse racing-centered book, but there is one concern about the sports betting section. There aren’t many options available for individual markets, such as State of Origin, NBA, AFL, and NRL.

We prefer to see hundreds of betting options available for each game, but BetDeluxe sports betting markets host only around 18-20. It’s not enough to keep exotic betting lovers entertained, so we’re hoping it adds more unique options in the future.

Sports betting plays second fiddle to horse racing. However, that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in quality markets and odds.
