About CrossBet

CrossBet is a relatively new addition to the online bookmaking landscape in Australia. It’s a fully licensed bookmaker by the Northern Territory Racing Commission.

Having been in the market since 2020, it’s still a fledgling sports and horse racing book, so improvement is bound to come.

CrossBet website design

The website design of CrossBet uses the all-too-familiar layout of many Australian bookmakers, which isn’t a bad thing, especially if punters have used the same design before.

Having accounts with multiple bookmakers is advised, so when they use the same layout, it’s a massive help for punters.

We love the simplistic layout of the CrossBet website design. All the important information is on the home page, but they can be slow to take down markets which have expired, which is a design flaw.

Overall, we can’t complain about the layout and this design is one of the friendliest for online gamblers.

Using the BetMakers platform, the CrossBet website provides a familiar user experience, making it one of the best betting sites Australia has to offer.

CrossBet sports betting

There are all the usual sports betting markets available, including local Australian sports such as AFL and NRL.

Overseas markets are also available for American sports, golf, football and tennis, among others. It’s a solid list of sports available, but there could be more added. We believe this is because of the software limitations, but either way, punters would love more variety.

Unfortunately, CrossBet doesn’t have the most competitive odds. The sports betting odds are still good value for the newer bookmakers, but punters get slightly better odds with the big bookmaking names.

CrossBet isn’t at that level yet, but that’s not to say there isn’t better odds on the horizon, especially as more customers sign up.

CrossBet is not a GoBet partner so they are not currently ranked by us. Our top bookmakers are currently betr, Bet365Neds with Ladbrokes coming in a close second.

CrossBet horse racing

CrossBet horse racing betting offers punters with Australian and overseas markets.

It aligns with most bookmakers in what they offer, and unlike sports betting, the horse racing odds are competitive.

There is also a good selection of futures markets available, including for the Melbourne Cup, The Everest and the Cox Plate. We love seeing futures markets, especially heading into the spring and autumn.

Finding upcoming races is easy as they scroll across the top of the page, so punters don’t have to look far to find the latest markets.

The CrossBet TV service is excellent and it live steams racing from all around the world. It’s a great option for punters watching racing without a TV.

CrossBet customer service

There isn’t much information in the ‘Contact Us’ section on the CrossBet site, which isn’t overly helpful. However, live chat is available for most of the working day.

Live chat is the best option as the customer service team is friendly and always willing to help with any query.

There is an email and phone option, but for the quickest replies, use live chat. There is no FAQ section, which we hope is added soon.

CrossBet deposit options

The easiest and fastest way to deposit is using either a debit or credit card. Funds are added to your account instantly, whereas a bank transfer can take up to 72 hours to hit your account.

The CrossBet depositing methods align with what’s accepted at most online bookmakers in Australia and we highly recommend using a card to get the best out of your betting experience.

Bank Transfer MasterCard PayPal Skrill Visa

CrossBet withdrawal options

KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements apply to CrossBet, so you will need to send in some verifying documents to withdraw your funds. Punters usually have to verify their ID and proof of address, but it takes five minutes to complete and then you’re able to withdraw your funds.

Once you are verified, punters can withdraw back onto the card used to deposit or via a bank transfer, which takes longer to process.

CrossBet app

The CrossBet app that makes it much easier to place your sport and horse racing bets.

It’s available on Android and iOS devices and can be found at the Apple Store and Play Store, so it’s easily accessible.

It makes placing bets on the go easy and if you’re betting on your phone, using the CrossBet betting app is a must.
