Super Rugby heads into the playoffs stage, and we have rugby tips for all four quarterfinal games.

Action kicks off with Blues vs Waratahs, and continues throughout the weekend with Chiefs vs Reds, Crusaders vs Drua, and Brumbies vs Hurricanes.

We cover every Super Rugby Pacific game throughout the year.

Super Rugby Pacific Quarter Finals Tips

Friday 9/6/23

5:35pm Blues vs Waratahs @ Eden Park

The Blues are the $1.05 favourites to beat the Waratahs, and rightfully so given their respective form.

There isn’t much going right for the Waratahs, who were embarrassed by Moana Pasifika last week, which is terrible form to bring to the playoffs.

There is no cohesion with the Waratahs, and it’s disappointing to see, but their season will likely come to an end on Friday night.

The Blues aren’t exactly setting the house on fire after a close win over the Highlanders, but they should be miles too good for the visitors.

Bookmakers have the line at –18.5, which favours the Blues.

Betting tip: Blues –18.5 @ $1.90

Saturday 10/6/23

2:35pm Chiefs vs Reds @ FMG Stadium

The Reds are the only team to have beaten the Chiefs this season, but we can’t seem pulling off that feat again.

They have been in awful form since that massive upset, including a shocking 41-17 loss to the Fijian Drua last week, which goes down as their worst defeat in history.

Looking to send them packing are the Chiefs, who are the tournament favourites, and despite losing to the Reds, they bounced back in fine style.

We can’t see them being beaten, but bookmakers have the line at 24.5. That’s a lot for the home team to cover, so we’re inclined to take the Reds to at least keep it somewhat close.

Betting tip: Reds +24.5 @ $1.90

5:05pm Crusaders vs Drua @ Orangetheory Stadium

The Drua have been playing good rugby, but despite doing well just to make the playoffs, we don’t see their winning run continuing.

The Crusaders are a different team when it comes to playoff situations, and their departing coach won’t want to end his tenure with a loss to the Drua.

Bookmakers have the line at –19.5, so it’s another big line for punters to take. However, given they’re playing at home, we expect the Crusaders to be far too good for the outsiders on Saturday night.

The line could move to around –21.5, so take what’s available.

Betting tip: Crusaders –21.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Brumbies vs Hurricanes @ GIO Stadium

The Brumbies and Hurricanes can’t be split with bookmakers at $1.90, but we think the Hurricanes are the better team.

New Zealand teams have a massive advantage over the Aussies, and they come off a stunning win over the Crusaders, so they have hit top gear at the right time.

The Brumbies also come off a big win, but that came against the Rebels, so the level of opposition was much different.

We’re taking the $1.90 for the Hurricanes.

Betting tip: Hurricanes @ $1.90
