Friday 29/3/24
5:05pm Crusaders vs Chiefs @ Orangetheory Stadium
The Crusaders are in dire straits having gone winless in their Super Rugby campaign so far.
There is much more momentum with the Chiefs, who are the best team in the league, and we’re happy with the –4.5 line available.
We don’t expect the Crusaders to fire with their backs against the wall, and the rebuilding phase could take a few years.
Betting tip: Chiefs –4.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Waratahs vs Rebels @ Allianz Stadium
The Waratahs lost to the Drua last week, but they did well enough to keep it close.
They wouldn’t have been happy with the loss, but they are going much better than the Rebels, who were thumped 54-28 by the Hurricanes.
However, there is currently 9.5 points between them at the sportsbook, and we don’t rate the Waratahs highly enough to take them to score by 10 points or more.
Betting tip: Rebels +9.5 @ $1.90

Saturday 30/3/24
12:05pm Fijian Drua vs Force @ Churchill Park
The Drua are the most-improved team in Super Rugby, and they are benefitting from playing their home games in Fiji instead of Australia and New Zealand.
They come off a tidy 39-36 win over the Waratahs, and facing the Force is a much easier task on Saturday.
The Force defeated the Reds last week, but they aren’t a good team, and the Drua should take advantage.
Betting tip: Drua –9.5 @ $1.90

2:35pm Moana Pasifika vs Blues @ Eden Park
Moana Pasifika are unlucky to get a home game at Eden Park, which is the Blues home ground.
It should be one of the more one-sided games of the week, and the Blues have hit top gear after winning 26-6 against the Crusaders.
The Pasifika allowed 60 points against the Brumbies, so it could be another poor defensive effort.
Betting tip: Blues –20.5 @ $1.90

5:05pm Highlanders vs Hurricanes @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
The Highlanders have lived up to our expectations this season, but the Hurricanes will be tough to beat.
They currently lead the competition after going unbeaten, and they should feel comfortable to putting away the Highlanders on the road.
We can’t see the Highlanders defence holding up against a wall of attack, so we’re locking in the Hurricanes to cover the –8.5 spread.
Betting tip: Hurricanes –8.5 @ $1.90

7:35pm Reds vs Brumbies @ Suncorp Stadium
The Reds couldn’t have been more disappointing when losing to the Force last week, so that’s tough to come back from.
The Brumbies were much better when winning 60-21 against Moana Pasifika, and we’re surprised they’re not favoured to beat the Reds.
We’re happy with the $2.25 available for the visitors.
Betting tip: Brumbies @ $2.25
